Shirley Adeline Decker, 82, of Montross, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022. Some of Shirley’s hobbies included crafting, crocheting, sewing, baking, and shopping. She has a great sense of humor and enjoyed wearing jewelry. Her favorite thing in the world was her family and spending time with them.
Shirley is survived by her sons, Arthur Roland Decker, IV (Donna) and Michael Ray Decker (Karen); daughter, Angela Sue King (Marshall); and grandchildren, Spencer Decker and Celene King.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Carmon Earley Walker; husband, Arthur Roland Decker, III; brother, Raymond Walker and sisters, Ruby Keller Niehaus, Jean Hatton, and Joyce Gibbons.
The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Welch Funeral Home-Montross Chapel with the memorial service following at 3 pm.
Friends and family are invited over for refreshments following the service at 748 Edge Hill Rd. Montross, VA 22520.
