Obituary for Robert Larry Bryant
Robert Larry Bryant, 71, of Montross passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, December 10, 2022. He was the son of Lois Wilson Bryant and the late George Arthur Bryant. Robert was a retired self-employed truck driver who loved country music, TV westerns, Nascar, and rooting for the Cowboys. He loved being outside and in his younger days enjoyed hunting and traveling, especially to Florida.
Left to remember him with much love are his mother, Lois; his brothers, Paul D. Bryant and Bruce W. Bryant (Teresa); his sister Brenda Sue Dessel (Bill); his nieces and nephews: Steven, George III, Michael, Justin, Barbara Jean, Stephanie, Jenny, David, Carrie, Kaitlyn, Lori, Michael, Lois, John, Nancy, Justin, Jason, and Stacey; and numerous cousins and friends. Preceding him in death are his father, George; his brother George A. Bryant, Jr.; and his sisters Nancy Jean Bryant and Carolyn V. Ashby.
The family will receive friends at the Welch Funeral Home in Montross on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and burial will follow in the Bryant Family Cemetery in Lerty. The Reverend Wade Wilkins will officiate.
