Obituary for Mary Elizabeth Self (Wheeler)
Mary Elizabeth Self, 79, of Warsaw, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018. She was a retired Insurance Agent for William Sanders Insurance Company, a member of Newland Church of Christ, and she loved music, dancing and her family.
Mary is survived by her son, Mark Alan Wiseman (Debbie) of Farnham; daughter, Carla Lyle Wiseman (Paul Thomas) of Warsaw; sister, Shirley Wheeler Williams (Wayne) of High Point, NC; three grandchildren, Brandon M. Wiseman, Derek E. Wiseman, and Bridget D. Wiseman; nephews, Gregory Wheeler and Tim Williams; and niece, Corinna Brown.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Allen Wheeler and Elsie Mary France Wheeler; husbands, Ernest Carl Wiseman, Sr. and Deems O. Self; and two brothers, Charles C. Wheeler and Earl B. Wheeler.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Cobham Park Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the memorial service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Riverside Tappahannock Hospice at 289 Hospital Road, Tappahannock, VA 22560.
