Frank “Junior” Yeatman, 79, of Lyells, formerly of Zacata, passed away on July 31, 2018.
He is survived by two daughters, Wanda Castelvecchi and Lisa Yeatman-Nashette; his mother, Lue Vennia Courtney; two brothers, George Yeatman and Ryland Yeatman; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is the son of Lue Vennia Yeatman Courtney and the late Frank Matthew Yeatman, Jr.
Junior was educated in the Richmond County Public Schools; served in the U. S. Air Force; worked at Miller Burton Ford Company in Montross for many years from which he retired and then went to work at Wal Mart in Tappahannock. Junior was an avid baseball player, loved to golf, grew wonderful vegetables and enjoyed wood working in his shop.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home, Montross Chapel, with Rev. Dr. Jason Patrick officiating. Interment will be in the Menokin Baptist Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
