Iva Alberta Taylor, age 91, of Callao, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. She was a retired seamstress with Levi Strauss.

Iva is survived by a son, Robert Everette Taylor of Panama City Beach, Florida; a daughter, Jean T. Newsome of Callao; grandchildren, John Newsome (Debbie), Robert Newsome, Diana Rock (Ron), and Joseph A. Taylor (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Brayden, Kelsey, Olivia, Reagan, Ronnie, John Owen, Joey, Jr. and T. J.; and a step-sister, Virginia Webb of Lottsburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Taylor; her parents, Walter Raymond and Edna Brown Cole; and two brothers, Charlie Cole and Dale Cole.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Welch Funeral Home, Marks Chapel. Interment will follow in Henderson United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
