Warren Carter "Frog"  Lowery Sr.
Warren Carter “Frog” Lowery, Sr., 93, of Callao passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. He was the Owner and Operator of W. C. Lowery, Inc. and a lifelong resident of Callao. He was an avid fisherman, a Mason, and a member of Melrose United Methodist Church.

Warren is survived by his sons, Warren Carter Lowery, Jr. (Mary Jo) and R. Dennis Lowery (Joanne); grandchildren, W. Carter Lowery, III, Jason Lowery (Khuyen), Meghan Lowery (Ben), Carter Lowery (Gina), Kimberly Dwyer, Tracy Gray, and Lindsey Hackman (Chris); and eleven great-grandchildren, Ace, Callie, Trent, and Haley, Collin, Maison, Isaac, Simon, Owen, Harper, Saylor; and niece Eugenia Gravitt as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his loving and devoted caregivers, Terry Hinson, Judy Jones, and Denise Baxter; as well as his devoted friend and caregiver of 17 years, Myra Dobyns.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 69 years, Kathleen Hughes Lowery; parents, James B. and Flora Hall Lowery; two brothers, James Lowery, Jr., and Robert W. Lowery; and five sisters, Mariam Burgess, Margaret Twigg, Pauline Morgan, Charlotte Bronner, and Virginia Bardin.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at Melrose United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathy Gochenour officiating.

The family will receive friends at a reception in the fellowship hall following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Callao Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 82, Callao, VA 22435.
